Novi Footwear has a large development department creating complete collections twice a year supplemented by frequent additions and updates. The design input is supplied by a team of experienced and well-known European designers specializing in particular footwear types and markets. These designers who come from Germany, Holland, Italy, France and England, are based in various parts of Europe, as they must stay close to the market, and make regular visits to the Far East for collection development. At that time they bring new lasts, materials, color books and samples so that we can build a complete collection in a very organized and systematic manner. We are also in close contact with various last makers in Europe so that we can quickly integrate the new trends to our collections. Novi Footwear also works closely with the Wortmann design team to bring the latest and most saleable fashion trends to the Novi Footwear collections.

The Wortmann-Group, Detmold, Germany is the majority shareholder of Novi Footwear since 2000. Wortmann KG, established in 1967 is counted among the biggest European companies for footwear production and sales. As leader in the sector of ladies fashion shoes, the Wortmann Group sold 63.9 million pairs last year to the European markets. Beyond that Wortmann belongs to Novi Footwear's largest customers regarding the production of shoes in the Fareast.
