Code of Conduct
Besides offering high quality and fashionable footwear we insist on using socially conscious suppliers in terms of both workers' right and environmental responsibility. Novi Footwear was one of the first (and few) Asian footwear companies to establish a code of conduct complete with factory auditing. Novi Footwear is also a member of the Brussels based FTA (Foreign Trade Association) and the first Asian footwear supplier to become a member of the BSCI organization (Business Social Compliance Initiative).
Novi Footwear's social program is based on both BSCI and ETI codes and we are taking a developmental approach. Novi Footwear has embraced this responsibility since year 2000 and we do not leave our factories to deal with the task all by themselves. Instead, Novi Footwear provides training sessions, workshops to coach and even arrange third party consultation. Our audits are performed by independent auditing firms and audit results, corrective actions are maintained in our management database.
